Rude cashier on night of 12/1. For the exorbitant price, I would expect better and kinder service. I received just the opposite.
Just bought an Evian water here. Nice and quick service!
This place used to used to have larger plates. They cut their servings almost by half. What a pity. I always looked forward to buying food there for the plane ride. Last time will be today.
Decent vegan options. There's a mezze sampler plate with hummus, pita, and tabbouleh and a roasted vegetable and quinoa bowl. Standard airport prices.
If you want to get scammed then go here. The price on their prepared salads and wraps says one price. Then their price sheet says a different higher price. And then when you go to pay it’s an even higher price. And when you question why the lower prices listed were not the price charged, you will be the bad guy. Rudely telling you, “that’s what it costs.” Horrible service.
FEB 2026 update: A couple years ago I gave this 5 stars but the quality has decreased significantly. And the last handful of times I’ve gone they don’t have the chicken couscous in stock, which is by far the best of the salads. Overall now the portions are smaller and the flavors are blunted, freshness variable. Fig and Fennel (or Ice Box - sells same salads) used to be a stand out among all airport food (not just MIA but anywhere). Now I’d just say it’s not as terrible as some other airport food, but nothing very pleasant. Sad to have lost this little bright spot of my frequent travel through MIA. OLD REVIEW THAT IS NO LONGRE TRUE: This is my go to every time I’m at MIA, which is at least a dozen times a year. DELICIOUS and fresh. Some of the best airport food I’ve eaten anywhere. The roasted veggie and chicken salad is outstanding. The portion is large so even at $16 I get two meals out of it (and yes I carry the rest to my destination if I don’t finish it, it’s that good). Had the falafel wrap for a change yesterday and it was also excellent. This is food that I would eat regularly if it were available near my home. FYI the same food is sold at Ice Box at the other end of the terminal.
Excellent turkey sandwiches and Runyka that works here was a GREAT help in getting an e mail back to the UK for me after British Airways messed up my flights and my new phone which I was told would work in the US did not. I will use this place again for something to eat and drink the next time I am in Miami airport. November/30/2023 back again for another Turkey sandwich and something to drink before my flight is still a GREAT place to shop at. Thank you.
At this place you can get real Austrian coffee from Julius Meinl. Julius Meinl makes coffee since 1862 in Vienna, Austria. Now you have the chance to get a real espresso or cappuccino. This place even has the original Julius Meinl espresso machine. Check out the picture.
